Introduction
With energy recycling, green recycling, energy recycling of homes,[1] energy reconditioning,[2] energy retrofitting, among other expressions, a series of technological and design strategies to recondition and/or improve the energy efficiency of homes and buildings have been defined since the mid-1970s.
Simple steps
There are a series of recommended steps to achieve energy recycling of a home. They are usually ordered from the simplest and cheapest to the most complex and expensive. These are the steps that are recommended[3].
Like all knowledge or techniques, this has been evolving in recent decades and the following steps are incorporated into the previous steps:
