magicplan is a mobile application developed by Sensopia Inc,[1]​ a Canadian company, that allows users to create property plans using a device's camera and augmented reality (AR) technology.[2]​ The application facilitates the measurement and creation of plans by producing 2D and 3D models of interior spaces. magicplan is available for iOS[3]​ and Android devices and has been used by professionals in various industries, such as architecture, real estate, construction and remodeling.[4]​.

magicplan was developed in 2011 by Sensopia inc in Montreal, Canada. In 2016 Sensopia merged with B&O,[5]​ a conglomerate of German companies in the housing and construction sector. Since then, magicplan has offices in Montreal and Munich.[6]​ The first version of magicplan was released in 2011 for iOS devices, followed by the Android version in 2013.[7]​ The app gained wide recognition and was included in Apple's 2017 Best Apps of the Year list.[8]​.
