Application of repair mortars
Introduction
Repair mortar generally refers to a pre-bagged product, a mixture of cement, sand and additives specially designed for concrete repair. Reducing shrinkage and increasing adhesion to make specific applications where the concrete is damaged. Although it can be done on site, it is recommended to use pre-bagged products as they allow for uniform quality.
Uses
Repair mortar can be used to repair rebar corrosion delaminations where the rebar swells and the concrete comes loose.
Characteristics
To be considered a repair mortar and not a common mortar, it must have:
