In pattern recognition, a feature space (FE) is an abstract space where each example (pattern) is represented as a point in an n-dimensional space. This dimension is determined by the number of characteristics that describe the patterns, with which similar objects will be found nearby in the EC and in this way it is possible to classify and group them.
